IDEA = Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Anti-racism

Background

The District Municipality of Muskoka (District) wants to create a community that is inclusive, diverse, equitable and anti-racist, and is one in which all residents have equal opportunity for positive educational, financial, social and health outcomes. That is why on June 15 2020 Muskoka District Council unanimously voted to form an IDEA Advisory Group and have staff work on creating a Community IDEA Action Plan that seeks to promote and celebrate diversity, as well promote opportunities for dialogue, strengthen relationships and combat systemic racism.

Advisory Group Volunteers Needed
