A seasonal reminder from the Town of Huntsville Public Works Department:

Please assist Public Works with winter maintenance operations by adhering to the following by-law regulations.

Parking restrictions are in place from November 1 to April 15th in an effort to facilitate the Town's snow removal efforts. Please refrain from parking on streets during a storm and where "no parking " signs are in place. The winter public parking map can help identify allowable areas for parking during the season.

A parked vehicle interfering with snow removal activities could be towed at the owner's expense, as stated in the Highway Traffic Act, Ontario. Vehicles interfering with traffic: Despite the other provisions of this 170 (12) section, no person shall park or stand a vehicle on a highway in such a manner as to interfere with the movement of traffic or the clearing of snow from the highway. R.S.O 1990, c H.8,s 170 (12)

Note: The Rate for Towing during the 2019/2020 winter season is $165.00 + $50.00 if a dolly is required.
