The Short-Term Rental Accommodation program was initiated by the Town to ensure all rentals operate safely, in accordance with the Fire Protection Standards and the Ontario Building Code. Residents and property owners who wish to rent out rooms or entire units for a period of 28 days or less, are asked to obtain a licence on huntsville.ca/STRentals

    The Town of Huntsville is looking feedback regarding legislation around Private Short Term Accommodation Rentals.

    We've set up ways for you to provide us with your feedback on the proposed legislation. You can:

    1. Take the online questionnaire or ask us a question on the Q&A tab
    2. Keep up-to-date on this initiative by selecting the stay informed, subscription option on this page
    3. Participate in one of the following Open Houses to provide feedback:
    • Tuesday, October 22nd - 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm - Partners Hall - 37 Main Street East, Huntsville
    • Wednesday, October 23rd - 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm - Partners Hall - 37 Main Street East, Huntsville
    • Saturday, October 26th - 10:30 am - 12:30 pm - Partners Hall - 37 Main Street East, Huntsville
