    Consumer Fireworks are outdoor, low hazard fireworks that are designed for recreational purposes. These are the fireworks that can be purchased at licensed retailers and are often set off by a person on a group for recreation use in celebration of a statutory holiday or personal celebration (for example, wedding, birthday etc.)

    Display Fireworks are outdoor, high hazard fireworks that are designed for professional licences only. Display Fireworks are permitted through the Huntsville & Lake of Bays Fire Department as per the Explosives Act (R.S.C., 1985, Chapter E-17).

    The Town of Huntsville reviews our by-laws on a regular basis. This questionnaire is seeking feedback regarding the sale and use of both Consumer and Display Fireworks in the Town of Huntsville.
