My Chosen Home

Huntsville was not the town that I was born in but the town that I chose to retire in. Growing up in Lakeview Ontario, which is now Mississauga, the little town grew enormously. I no longer connect with that town called Lakeview...it was swallowed! Huntsville reminds me of that little town, only better with its many lakes, forests, rivers and spectacular beauty! The people here have been welcoming, warm, accountable and friendly. This was the way Lakeview was before it became a city. In retirement, I have involved myself with numerous charitable endeavours, and activities and these are what connects me to the pulse of the town. Relationships are the key to happiness and I have found many satisfying friends here. One just needs to reach out and be involved.
